specific grade level Common Core classroom strategies modeling a balance of reading, writing, speaking, and listening
actual classroom videos of teachers implementing the Common Core Standards in their classrooms
exploration of articles emphasizing the integration of reading, writing, speaking, and listening with Common Core Standards

protocols modeled by Common Core organizers to plan, as a team, for outcomes and possibilities in the classroom
School teams will develop action plans for implementing the strategies in their classrooms/buildings.
This dynamic institute will feature Upstate Writing Project Teacher Consultants who completed a Common Core Research Institute that included NCTE Common Core training during the summer of 2011. The consultants are Writing Specialists who have received advanced degrees focused on literacy/writing.
